Admission Requirements Online RN to BSN
To be admitted to the LSUA Bachelor of Science in Nursing online program (RN to BSN), applicants must:
- Have graduated from an ACEN accredited (previously, NLNAC) program and currently hold an unencumbered RN license
- Be unconditionally admitted to the university and have declared BSN as a major
- Have an overall GPA of 2.25 or higher
- Not be concurrently enrolled in a nursing program at another university
Transfer Students
Students transferring from another RN-BSN program must provide a Letter of Good Standing from the school of nursing. If the student is not in good standing, the student must wait three years before enrolling in the RN-BSN program. LSUA does give credit for core nursing courses.
Note: Students will receive credit for Nursing courses from their Associate Program. Non-Nursing courses will be evaluated on a course by course basis.
