As technology advances, business leaders will encounter new challenges and opportunities. This specialization prepares students to compete in this industry by providing the skills and knowledge required to drive key business strategies through information technology and information systems.
Courses include Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence for Business, Cloud Strategy, and Information Systems. After completing this specialization, graduates can pursue careers as database administrators, AI/machine learning engineers, and cloud computing engineers.
Data Analytics
This specialization supports those interested in careers where data analytics is key. Students will complete hands-on projects to gain highly sought-after skills. Students pursuing this specialization can also earn an online Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics without taking additional courses.
Courses include Descriptive and Predictive Analytics, Analytics Methods, and Visual Analytics. Graduates can pursue careers as data analysts, business analysts, statisticians, and market research analysts
Healthcare Management
The healthcare industry is one of the fastest-growing industries in the country. The healthcare management specialization helps students develop the business and leadership skills to manage critical issues in this rapidly growing industry.

Answer: No, upon program completion you will receive the same diploma as your on-campus peers.
Question: Do I ever need to appear at the LSU campus for LSU Online programs?
Answer: No, you do not. LSU Online programs are 100% online and require no on-campus appearance. Check with your program for any activities or events that may be available to you should you be in the Baton Rouge area.
Question: How do I find out who my advisor and/or class instructor is?
Answer: Your advisor will be assigned by your department. Feel free to contact your department for specifics as to who your instructor will be for a class. Generally, Moodle (the class delivery system) displays class information at least 10 to 14 days before the class begins. Instructions for Moodle are covered in the LSU Online Orientation.
