- Must meet the standardized test score requirements set for traditional first-time freshmen. This is determined by ACT, SAT, COMPASS, or placement tests.
Note: If the math ACT/SAT sub-score is met and the English sub-score is within three points of the needed sub-score and all of the above requirements are met, a student could be admissible to LSUS. Additionally, if the English sub-score is met and the Math sub-score is within three points of the required sub-score the student could be admissible.

Transfer
- Earned at least 18 college-level academic hours.
- Be eligible to return to the institution from which he or she is transferring
- 2.0 GPA on all college-level course work attempted
- Completed a college-level English and a college-level mathematics course with at least a "C" grade
- Students with less than 18 college-level academic hours must meet all other transfer requirements and admission standards for a first time freshman.

In this bachelor’s degree program, students will supplement general finance topics with an in-depth study of real estate law, appraisals, investment and taxation, financial services management, and more.
What Will I Learn?
Students who graduate with an online degree in finance with a concentration in real estate will be well-equipped for every aspect of the finance and real estate industries. Students will also be exposed to content that will benefit them if they take the state licensing exam.
In the Online Real Estate Finance program, students will:
- Understand the operations of the real estate industry and the services provided
- Take a detailed look at various after-tax measures of return for different types of real estate investments
- Learn how to develop and present investment, financing, and tax concepts for property owners and investors, and be able to apply after-tax advantages and legal aspects of real estate ownership, closing costs, and alternative financing
- Gain the ability to conduct a valuation of real property, particularly single-family residential analysis, and learn how to complete an appraisal report and use software applications for residential appraisal
