LWCC partners with LSU Online to provide employees with accessible learning opportunities

LSU Online is proud to announce our partnership with Louisiana Workers' Compensation Corporation (LWCC), the largest provider of workers' compensation insurance for businesses in Louisiana. With this partnership, LWCC employees can use their tuition benefits and access a range of affordable online college credit programs from the LSU family of institutions across the state. All professional development and educational job- related programs that promote an employee’s career development may be covered by LWCC’s external training policy or tuition assistance.  

Weslee Meador, Facilities Manager at LWCC, recently obtained his Post- Baccalaureate Certificate in Facilities Management offered by the LSU Bert S. Turner Department of Construction Management and LSU Online. He said “LWCC is unique in that learning is a company core value, and as such I’m always searching for ways for not only me to learn and grow, but for my team to do so as well. By completing this program, I gained a deeper understanding of many facets of facility management and building systems that I never realized I only had a surface-level understanding of before.”
