Online Bachelor or Master of Science in Leadership and Human Resource Development Degree Credit for Prior Learning
Save Money by Utilizing the Skills and Knowledge that You Can Already Prove
There are ways to earn college credit from past experiences. LSU Online helps our learners achieve their goals through the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) program, which is designed to award credit for military or work training without you needing to take any additional steps. By applying these credits, you can save both time and money as there will be less coursework to complete. See below for a detailed list of PLA certifications to see which ones you qualify for. Certifications may be eligible for 3-6 credits depending on the courses listed.
Graduate students may submit requests and may be eligible for credit for prior learning (CPL) provided the equivalent non-credit experience or training was completed within the last five years.
Alternatively, graduate students may also be eligible for CPL if they have remained up to date with their certification through Continuing Education Units (CEUs) that the specific certifying organization mandates. (This is for graduate students only)
