Coronavirus: Tips for teaching college online

Michael J. Alleman, LSU Eunice professor of English, was recently quoted in an online article for University Business titled Coronavirus: Tips for teaching college online by Matt Zalaznick.

With the growing number of coronavirus patients, universities had to make the decision to shift from on-campus to online learning for the safety of students, staff, and faculty. Alleman shares helpful tips and what to expect from the moment the online class is accessible. He says educators need to be prepared to respond to students outside of traditional class hours and to anticipate questions and pain points early on to reduce frustration.
