BPCC Grads Can Now Easily Transfer to LSU’s Online BS in Fire & Emergency Services Administration

If you’ve earned your Associate of Applied Science in Fire Science from Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC), your path to a bachelor’s degree just got easier. Thanks to a new partnership between BPCC and LSU, graduates can continue their education in the online Bachelor of Science in Fire and Emergency Services Administration (FESA) program at LSU. 

How It Works 

For BPCC graduates, the process is simple:  

• Start at BPCC: Complete your 60-credit associate degree in fire science. 

• Transfer to LSU: Bring all 60 credits with you into LSU’s online BS in FESA. 

• Complete your degree: Finish your bachelor’s degree in fire and emergency services, fully online. 

As long as you meet LSU’s transfer admission requirements—including at least 30 transferable credits, a 2.5 GPA, college-level math and English, and a minimum grade of C in all transferable courses—you’ll have guaranteed admission into LSU’s College of Engineering.
