About Tya N. Boyden, MS
Tya Boyden serves as the Associate Director of Program Management & Strategy and Operations for LSU Online and Continuing Education. With nearly 30 years of experience in developing and implementing complex programs, she has honed her expertise in launching impactful university and business-wide initiatives that enhance engagement and retention. In her current role, Tya collaborates with program directors from the College of Science, College of Music and Dramatic Arts, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Human Sciences and Education, and the Manship School of Mass Communication to bring new online programs to life, supporting LSU’s mission. Leveraging data-driven insights and market research, she identifies best practices that shape program development and delivery. Known for her collaborative and customer-centered approach, Tya builds strong partnerships and promotes a team-oriented culture. Tya is a proud alumna of Howard University, where she earned a BA in Political Science, and Southern New Hampshire University, where she earned an MS in Organizational Leadership.
