I have no college credits

For university acceptance, first-time freshman must meet the following criteria:

  • Completion of TOPS University Diploma, or its equivalent college readiness core curriculum at time of high school graduation AND
  • High School GPA of 2.0 or higher AND
  • Require no more than ONE Developmental Course (or qualify for co-requisite delivery of Freshman Composition or College Algebra) AND
  • Either 2.0 GPA, or greater in Core Courses, or ACT Composite of 20* or greater
I have some college credits

Transfer students to LSUA must meet one of the following sets of criteria:

  • Have earned a transferable associate degree or higher
  • Have earned at least 18 hours of college-level credit, including a college-level English and college-level mathematics course, with a grade of “C” or higher in each, and an overall GPA of at least 2.0
  • Have earned at least 12 hours of college-level credit from LSUE or CLTCC Bridge Program, including a college-level English and college-level mathematics course, with a grade of “C” or higher in each, and an overall GPA of at least 2.0, or meet freshman admission requirements and be in good standing with their previous institution

Transfer Credits: LSUA processes transfer credits in accordance with campus policies at the time the courses were taken. Prior to 2020, LSUA did not have a course repeat policy that excluded grades from GPA calculations. As a result, your stated GPA at LSUA may be affected, which could impact your admission decision.

LSUA's online programs offer competitive, flat-rate tuition with no out-of-state fees. Plus, you may be able to save even more by transferring up to 75% of previous credits.

Students who graduate with an online degree in organizational studies will be prepared with the skills and knowledge to become effective leaders.

Topics included in this degree program include:

  • Financial accounting with emphasis on knowledge required for completion of the accounting cycle, including income measurement and financial statement preparation
  • An introductory study of the nature of economics, economic concepts and problems, economic system, and the role of government
  • Management functions, including planning, organizing, staffing/human resource management, leading/interpersonal influence, and controlling in both domestic and international spheres
  • A study of the field of marketing; marketing environment, functions, and institutional structure at a macro level
  • Systems theory, quality, decision making, and the organizational role of information systems are introduced
  • Social roles of organization whose primary function is the accumulation of profits; emphasis on current issues
