Assessment Strategy
An assessment strategy is a means to observe your students’ competence. In this video, we will discuss the alignment of your assessments to course outcomes, as well as different types and examples of assessments. As an instructor, you should ask yourself a few important questions when designing your assessment strategy. First, what action verbs did I use? Secondly, can you create assessments that allow students to demonstrate meeting goals? Finally, is the activity at an appropriate level for your course? In a well-aligned course, the course outcomes, module learning objectives, materials, activities, and assessments should work together to help students meet their learning goals.
