New Scheduling Tool for College In-Residence Support

When booking a consultation with a team member from the Design & Development team or the Faculty Technology Center via our In-Residence Support service, you’ll notice the interface will look slightly different. We are using a new tool (AppointmentPlus) to facilitate the process—providing convenience for both faculty and LSU Online team members!

Although the interface looks slightly different, your booking experience should be as seamless as before. You can ask your designer for help with the following:

• Developing course outcomes and learning objectives
• Aligning course content and activities to course outcomes
• Incorporating user experience principles in content organization and presentation
• Leveraging Moodle functionalities to create learning activities
• Determining selection of synchronous and asynchronous strategies based on purpose of activity
• Building meaningful interaction in courses (i.e., student-to-student, student-to-instructor)
• Designing authentic assessments
• Creating rubrics
• Promoting active learning
• Helping select course resources that are accessible and inclusive
• Transforming course content based on different delivery modalities (online and blended)
