Workshops Offered
Learning Panopto: This course will take approximately 45 minute and provides an overview of the Panopto lecture capture resource, including a walk through of the steps needed to add content to your Moodle course.
Moodle Gradebook Set up: This course will take approximately 45 minutes and covers the necessary steps needed to prepare your Moodle gradebook for use during the upcoming semester.
Moodle Introductory Topics: This course will take approximately 45 minutes and covers the most introductory topics needed to begin using Moodle to facilitate teaching and learning online.
Moodle Quiz Basics: This course will take approximately one hour and covers Quiz activity creation and settings, question banks, randomization, and user overrides. Watch Workshop
TurningPoint: Vendor-provided training that covers use of TurningPoint Web, how to build questions such as multiple-choice, numeric value, word cloud, hot spot, and more. Also included will be flipping the classroom by using scheduled surveys.
Using the Moodle Gradebook: This course will take approximately 45 minutes and covers the concepts and tools needed to manage your Moodle gradebook throughout the course of the semester
Voicethread: Vendor-provided training that covers use of Voicethread in Moodle. Training includes set up of threads as well as their use for assessment and engagement. Watch Workshop
Zoom Training for Faculty: This course will take approximately one hour and covers the set up and use of Zoom for meeting purposes as well as its Moodle integration for synchronous remote learning.
