Mitchell Stolier

Mitchell Stolier began working at LSU in 2023 and has previously worked in the fields of K-12 education and educational technology. He has taught in online and face-to-face learning environments, with a focus on math. Mitchell holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from LSU. Within his current role, Mitchell assists faculty in creating interactive, accessible online course materials. His hobbies include playing video games and tennis.

Roland Baker

Roland joined LSU and the FTC in 2018. He has 7 years of experience in Information Technology. Roland holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems.

Heidi Guercio

Heidi Guercio started with LSU Online & Continuing Education in 2018. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre concentrating in Literature, History, and Theory and minored in Women and Gender Studies at Louisiana State University. She developed an interest in course design after working as student support for LSU Online. She implements her customer experience skills to create resources that engage and improve the student experience across modalities.

Greg Brignac

Greg joined the FTC in 2018, but has been employed full-time at LSU since 1996. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology and a Master's in Human Resource Training & Development from LSU.

Rosemary Reynolds

Prior to joining the Design & Development team, Rosemary worked as an adjunct faculty member at Southeastern University and as a high school teacher in computer science, digital design, and web design. She received her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Educational Technology from the University of Florida. Rosemary is passionate about the integration of technology into education and strives to create engaging learning experiences for students and instructors alike.

Kristen Hernandez has been at LSU since 2014 serving in various roles. She has been in the field of education and educational technology since 2004. Kristen is proficient in course design, active learning, brain based learning, STEAM, gamification, adaptive learning, prior learning assessments, and accessibility. She earned a Master of Education in Educational Technology Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Southeastern Louisiana University. In her spare time she enjoys singing, hanging out with her friends and family, party planning, watching and playing sports.

Karina Sanderson-Thorla

Karina Sanderson-Thorla has worked at LSU since 2019 and joined the LSU Online & Continuing Education Design & Development team in 2020. Karina earned her Master of Arts in Adult Education in 2010 from the University of South Florida. In her previous experience in the field of dental hygiene and dental assisting, she taught dental assisting courses and revamped the dental assisting curriculum for blended and online formats. As an eLearning Author, Karina enjoys using her past curriculum design experience and assisting subject matter experts with designing innovative online courses that encourage student learning and engagement.

Courtney R. Hebert

Courtney R. Hebert has worked at LSU since 2017 and has a wide range of experiences in K-12 education, higher education, and educational technology. In her various roles as high school English teacher, technology coordinator, and technology consultant, she has worked to create environments where technology and education merge to create effective learning environments. In her current role with LSU Online & Continuing Education, she focuses on assisting faculty with the design, development, and delivery of online courses and developing professional development opportunities for faculty. Courtney received her Ed.D. in Instructional Systems Design and Technology at Sam Houston State University in 2021.

Phoenix MacAiodh

Phoenix joined the FTC in 2019. He has 20 years of IT experience, has been at LSU full-time since 2010 and has been adjunct faculty in Library and Information Science since 2017. Phoenix holds a Bachelor’s in Humanities and a Master’s in Library and Information Sciences from LSU.

Richelle DeCuir, M.Ed.

Richelle DeCuir joined LSU in 2019 and has been actively involved in the fields of education and educational technology since 2000, serving as a teacher, peer mentor, and coordinator. She holds an Education Specialist (EdS) degree in Educational Leadership & Research from Louisiana State University and a Master of Education degree in Educational Technology Leadership from Northwestern State University. In her current role, Richelle's primary responsibility is to support faculty in creating engaging and high-quality online courses. Her expertise includes integrating educational technology, learning theories & inclusive teaching strategies, and curriculum development.
