The Marine Corps College of Distance Education and Training (CDET) program serves all U.S. military forces and DoD government agencies, as well as international military forces throughout the globe. Those who have completed the CSCDEP 8900 series can save time and money by maximizing their previously earned credits to pursue an online graduate degree at an accredited university offered through LSU Online. Transfer up to 6 credit hours towards the online Master of Science in Leadership & Human Resource Development or the online Flores Master of Business Administration degree at LSU.

Offered through LSU College of Human Sciences and Education and LSU Online, the online Master of Leadership & Human Resource Development degree enables students to become skilled, versatile organizational development professionals. Delivered by one of the country’s leading human resources master’s programs, the MS is designed for people who want to advance their HR career, lead change, and develop people and organizations. The CDET and LSU partnership provides students with the chance to earn a master’s degree by applying credits they have already earned. LSU may grant graduates of the CDET CSCDEP 8900 series SIX graduate-level academic credit hours that can be used toward the Online MS LHRD degree requirements. There are 30 additional credit hours beyond these 6 credits that are required by the Online MS LHRD program for the College of Human Sciences and Education.

- Grade Point Average (GPA) Requirements:
Regular Admission:
The requisite undergraduate cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) for regular admission to the MS program in Leadership & Human Resource Development is 3.0. However, if a student's cumulative undergraduate GPA is below 3.0 but is above a 3.0 for the last half-degree requirement of his/her undergraduate work, then she/he is eligible for regular admission. In addition, if a student has a cumulative and last 60 hours GPA between 2.75 and 3.0 and has a graduate GPA above a 3.0 with at least 9 credit hours, she/he is eligible for regular admission.
Probationary Admission:
Applicants with an undergraduate cumulative GPA between 2.75 – 2.99 can be admitted to the program "on probation" at the School's discretion. Applicants with an undergraduate GPA below 2.75 will not be considered for admission to the MS program.
Graduate Record Exam (GRE):
The Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is highly recommended, but not mandatory, for applicants.
GRE Waiver:
Applicants to the MS program may have the GRE requirement waived if they meet the GPA requirement for regular admission, demonstrate at least three years full-time work experience, AND provide a GRE Waiver Essay. The essay must be 1,000 words or less and use specific examples from your professional work experience to demonstrate:

Offered through LSU and the E.J. Ourso College of Business, the online Flores Master of Business Administration pushes experienced professionals to become leaders in business.This enterprising track delivers a comprehensive curriculum that strengthens leadership, management, and critical analysis skills.This degree is offered at 36 hours, decreased from 42 hours. This means while other on-campus and online MBA programs take around two years to complete, the LSU online program can be finished in as few as 18 months. And with an expansive alumni network, students can access LSU’s world-class professional resources while pursuing their education in a flexible format. LSU may grant graduates of the CDET CSCDEP 8900 series SIX graduate-level academic credit hours that can be used toward the Online MBA degree requirements. There are 30 additional credit hours beyond these 6 credits that are required by the Online MBA program from the E.J. Ourso College of Business.

- Recorded video interview answering five questions posted in the application

- A GRE/GMAT score is not required for application. However, for those who don’t meet minimum requirements for any of the above criteria, a GRE/GMAT score may be requested at the department's discretion.
