Dr. Nina Lam, E. L. Abraham Distinguished Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences at LSU, has been named a recipient of the 2026 American Association of Geographers (AAG) Lifetime Achievement Honors. This prestigious recognition—one of the highest distinctions awarded by the AAG—celebrates her transformative and enduring contributions to geography, GIScience, and environmental studies over a career spanning more than four decades.
