For Jason Hunt, pursuing a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) was the key to aligning his passions with a profession that makes a real impact. As a lifelong lover of literature and digital tools, Jason was drawn to the intersection of books, data, and technology.     The program significantly enhanced my capabilities in digital cataloging and information retrieval, which are essential skills for my dream job as a medical information specialist.   4. Can you share a specific example of how you applied what you learned?
    Certainly! I applied the principles from my coursework to assist patrons in the public library where I am currently employed part-time. These skills include data retrieval, organizational skills, and book referrals.
  5. What do you see as the biggest benefits of an online education?
    The flexibility it offers is unparalleled, allowing me to balance work, study, and personal commitments seamlessly.
  6. What was your favorite aspect of the program?
    The program fostered a diverse and passionate community. Engaging with classmates from various backgrounds enriched my educational experience.
  7. Can you share a success story related to your career?
    While I am still in the early stages of crafting my success story, graduating from the program has already opened numerous opportunities that would have been inaccessible to me otherwise. My degree has significantly broadened my career prospects and set me on a promising path.
