Cybersecurity 2020: A Perilous Landscape (TechNewsWorld.com)

Andrew Schwarz, LSU professor in the Information Systems & Decision Sciences program in the E. J. Ourso College of Business Administration, was recently quoted in an online article from TechNewsWorld titled Cybersecurity 2020: A Perilous Landscape by Peter Suciu.

He mentions one of the common misconceptions about cybersecurity is that “the cloud is inherently less secure than traditional on-premises solutions," but in reality, “the cloud is not only secure but is more secure than most, if not all, on-premises data centers." Knowing how to navigate and develop cloud platforms is—and will continue to be—a valuable resource in the workplace.
