Guild Funds and Registration Requirement Process Online, But Never Alone
How to complete registration once your Guild funding has been applied
For Students:
Your Guild funding will be applied to your fee bill on the second day of classes for each Module.
Once the funding is applied, you’ll receive an email from your Student Success Coach or LSU Online letting you know you’re ready to complete registration.

Tip: It’s your responsibility to know the funds available through your company. If you don’t have enough Guild funds, check out our Financial Funding Options PDF for other ways to pay.
What Students Must Do (step-by-step)
Schedule all courses (both modules) before the first module begins.
Workday bills by semester, so students should have their first‑module and second‑module classes on the schedule to align with term‑level sponsorship and payment activity.
Complete required Workday Student tasks.
Respond to the attendance email and the Financial Responsibility Acknowledgement so registration can be finalized.
Check the Student Financial Registration Summary in Workday Student.
Confirm their registration status and that anticipated third‑party credits/funding are appearing once eligibility is confirmed and applied by the Bursar team.
If Guild eligibility shows as ineligible on the lock date, the student must self‑pay or drop for the term unless Guild later approves an override.
Staff should follow the internal override/escalation process when Guild confirms.
Note: This process applies only to LSU Online Guild students. It does not apply to Guild LSUA or LSU Online & Continuing Education students.
Important: Don’t Miss the Deadline
If you don’t complete registration by the first Friday of classes, you’ll be dropped from your course. This means:
You’ll lose access to all work completed in that Module.
You’ll need to re-enroll in the next available term.
If this happens, contact your Student Success Coach for assistance with re-enrollment.
