Learn the principles taught through Amazon Web Services (AWS) with the Amazon-certified AWS Cloud Computing Certificate Program from LSU Online & Continuing Education.

Learn the characteristics, types, services, architectures, and applications of cloud computing, and learn how to contextualize and apply cloud principles in a wide range of industry settings. Students will leave this program with the skills necessary to understand cloud computing problems, architect solutions to those problems, and communicate those solutions effectively to clients, vendors, and others.

Through this program, students will be prepared for AWS certification exams and will gain a professional development certificate and a digital badge that can be used to expand their résumé and display subject matter expertise.

This certificate program is made up of the AWS Cloud Practitioner MicroCred® and the AWS Solutions Architect MicroCred® programs. Courses in this certificate can be purchased separately or bundled together.

If courses are purchased individually, you will have six weeks to complete the single course. If the program is purchased as a bundle, you will have nine months to complete the program.

Extensions for individual courses is $95 for an additional week.

Extensions for the entire program is $195 for an additional month.


Courses require access to high-speed Internet, email, web browser (Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox recommended), MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Digital Badge Details

Successful completion of all courses within the program earns you an official LSU digital badge to show off your skill sets.
