Businesses generate usable data daily. But gathering, analyzing, and understanding that data is crucial to improving business operations. Learn how to use Google sheets and become familiar with how to use Python to apply basic statistical techniques to data through the LSU Online & Continuing Education Statistics MicroCred® program. Students will use basic and intermediate probability concepts to determine the likelihood of events, draw conclusions regarding statistical significance based on the results of hypothesis tests, and design and implement A/B testing scenarios. Learn how to identify linear and non-linear correlations, build and assess simple and multiple linear models, and make predictions about unseen data.
MicroCred® instructor Melinda Stallings explains the importance of being able to show off your skills in a digital format when looking for a job.
If courses in each MicroCred® are purchased individually, the cost is $775 each for a total cost of $1,550.
