AWS Cloud Practitioner

LSU is Amazon-certified to develop and teach programs from Amazon Web Services Academy. The programs developed are intended to prepare learners for industry-recognized certifications, like the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and in-demand careers in cloud computing. The courses in this MicroCred® program will provide foundational knowledge of the cloud by discussing its characteristics, types, services, architectures, and applications. Learners will be able to contextualize and apply the cloud principles through services offered by AWS and learn how to architect a firm using those services. If courses are purchased individually, you will have six weeks to complete the single course. If the program was purchased as a bundle, you will have four months to complete the program.
Extensions for individual courses is $95 for an additional week.
Extensions for the entire program is $150 for an additional month.
Courses require access to high-speed Internet, email, web browser (Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox recommended), MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Each MicroCred program is made up of two to six individual courses. Successful completion of all courses within the program qualifies you to earn an official LSU digital badge to show off your skill sets. This badge can be used to bulk up your online resume and showcase your expertise in the topic. Badges are distributed through Acclaim by Credly. If you have completed this MicroCred® program, request your badge.
