LSU Online & Continuing Education has partnered with the Medical Education & Training Campus (METC) to establish a simple and effective educational pathway for service members who want to earn a diploma or degree in the healthcare and health sciences field. METC’s Bridge Program, offered through LSU Online, is designed to help those with military experience save time and money when earning their degree. Featured Degree Bridge Pathways
Offered through LSU Alexandria and LSU Online, the online Bachelor of Science in Health Professions with a concentration in Medical Imaging was developed by the Department of Allied Health and designed for working RTs from any state. This program is a post-professional baccalaureate degree for clinicians credentialed in Radiography.

Cost of Tuition and Fees: $291 per credit hour
METC graduates of the Ultrasound Technologist and Diagnostic Medical Sonography program can transfer and earn between 43-46* credit hours toward the online BS in Health Professions with a concentration in Medical Imaging from LSU Alexandria.

Transfer students to LSUA must generally meet one of the following sets of criteria:
- Have earned a transferable associate degree or higher
- Have earned at least 18 hours of college-level credit, including a college-level English and college-level mathematics course, with a grade of “C” or higher in each, and an overall GPA of at least 2.0
- Have earned from a community college at least 12 hours of college-level credit, including a college-level English and college-level mathematics course, with a grade of “C” or higher in each, and an overall GPA of at least 2.0.
