As athletes continue to push themselves to the limit, the field of kinesiology needs professionals trained in promoting positive health behaviors and reducing risk behaviors in a wide range of athletic fields. The LSU Online Master of Science in Kinesiology with a specialization in Health Promotion and Sport Performance trains students to develop effective evaluation designs that capture the strengths and weaknesses of health promotion programs, interventions, and policies. Graduates from this program will understand how to critically evaluate policies and practices that contribute to health disparities and have the training required for high-paying careers in kinesiology.
