Become an Expert in a Growing IT Field

DevOps is an area of growth in the IT field across industries. The curriculum for this program is for beginners, those who would like to see if this career is for them. It has been organized for those with or without a college degree who would like an overview of the profession along with an understanding of major principles of DevOps.

Containers streamline the process to build, test and deploy applications from a developer’s laptop to an onsite data center or even the cloud. Upon completion of this program, learners will be competent in the process of integrating container and container orchestration tools and processes. They are skilled in identifying and selecting appropriate tools for a company based on their needs and goals.

Each MicroCred program is made up of two to six individual courses. Successful completion of all courses within the program qualifies you to earn an official LSU digital badge to show off your skill sets. This badge can be used to bulk up your resume and showcase your expertise in the topic. Badges are distributed through Acclaim by Credly. If you have completed this MicroCred program, you can request your badge by clicking here.

This program is part of the DevOps Engineer Certificate program.
