DevOps is an area of growth in the IT field across industries. The curriculum for this program is for beginners, those who would like to see if this career is for them. It has been organized for those with or without a college degree who would like an overview of the profession along with an understanding of major principles of DevOps, such as cloud platform, continuous deployment and containers.
To earn a MicroCred digital badge, you must complete 3 online self-paced – 6 hour courses. The Introduction to DevOps course and a 2 concept courses: A fundamentals and an applications course. Each course will be 6 hours for a total of 18 hours. The Introduction to DevOps course may count toward multiple programs. Students will receive a digital badge from LSU Online & Continuing Education that can be used for online résumés, personal websites, or social media.
