Serving learners and meeting their needs is the focus of every educational institution. The changing learner demographic, workforce needs, and rapid shifts in technology require institutions to rethink how individuals can demonstrate their learning. Competencies defined at the program level can provide the common language to move us to a next generation model of learning; one that accommodates a work-and-learn approach, which is what learners and workers need to keep up with the changing times. In this session, participants will learn what is needed to create this new model of learning for greater equity and success.
